Acupuncture has many other applications and benefits including cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation, increased energy and vitality, stress reduction, relaxation, strengthened immunity and many more.
The World Health Organisation published a review of controlled trials using acupuncture and concluded it was effective for the treatment of many conditions and there was evidence to suggest it may be effective for several dozen more.
